Hard to believe.. but I filled 12 pages on my first day!
First day – the view out my window.
(BTW, I write down some notes from the book I am reading in the morning each day so I can read them later on – A commentary on Psalm 119 by William Bridges)
Of course I have to draw at breakfast time the first day.
Using watercolour pencils for ease in the museum.
A sit down means a sketch – just so happens to have some food in it!
After lunch got in my car and went for a drive to a beautiful historic town of Richmond.
Although this was coffee stop – I didn’t draw the food
First day still…the famous bridge but not from the famous side (have to be there in the morning to be on the side that you can see the church in the background)
One of the famous buildings in the town
First day still…I think my loose style is more suited to decorative building – I find the crisp simple precise Georgian buildings of Tasmania a real challenge as I just don’t have the patience to do them carefully – so I was trying to do a partial representation here.
Yeah – more food to finish the day off. I had a lovely chat to a man in the table next to me.
What a day!
