London Day 3 - A Wrencrawl and Meeting Adebanji

October 8, 2013 | 1 Comment

Although Day 3 is was only my second full day in London in July and I was going to be leaving on the next day. 2 full days and 2 half days is NOT enough time in

A  crazy morning of solo sketching including:

A walk along the Thames to sketch Tower Bridge

a unscheduled mini Wren Sketchcrawl (St Magnus, The Monument and discovering an amazing lesser known church St Marys Abchurch)

and a way too rushed visit to my all time favourite building in London, St Stephens Walbrook.

followed by lunch with a client of mine (I am not able to reveal all about this yet…soon!) and another quick sketch of the Royal Courts of Justice

then an afternoon with Adebanji at Covent Garden sketching Inigo Jones’ very significant building St Paul’s Covent Garden

talk about inspiring!!!! as is his blog called Sketchin Inspiration.

Amazing to see a lot of his work IRL that I have seen online…and he has a HUGE pile of sketchbooks!

If anyone can inspire me to draw more people- Adebanji is the man. He did a quick demo my books as well!

Another big day… back to my room to pack and prepare for my final morning (crazy non stop mode… along with another client meeting!)
