A long weekend

October 14, 2016 | 5 Comments

Our October long weekend was officially the first weekend of the month, but sadly I had to work two very long days on the Saturday and Monday. Working on public holidays has become a bit of a bad habit, but I want to change that!

So, as the last content for SketchingNow Buildings is going live tonight, I am having a long weekend – no work from Friday evening through to Tuesday morning. Ah! I might get around to doing some bigger sketches, or topping up my palette, or a bit of sewing, or just hanging out with my family.

Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend, and are you going to sketch it?

See you on Tuesday!

I just received “Voyage Le Corbusier: Drawing on the Road.” My weekend will be filled with a vicarious journey through Europe following Le Corbusier’s travels through his drawings. Thank you for recommending such a wonderful book!

Wish you a very nice unstressing weekend. I would like to do the outdoor lesson 3 for Buildings if the weather is nice, read your book I received yesterday, have to do a guide trip for Dutch tourists and would like to bind a book with papers for watercolour. And my husband..and my dog. …and our garden.

Hi, Liz … hope your weekend is marvelous whatever you do! You deserve it! We are packing for a couple of months in Maine where I hope to work on some building sketches and get some last-minute kayaking in on the pond. Will drag your new book along to reread in my down time (whatever that is!). Again, thank you for a terrific sketching course!!! I really enjoyed all of it and feel I made some noticeable progress!!! More to come.
