A little break

April 19, 2022 | 10 Comments

Just a super quick post today to let you know that I’m having a little break from my blog this week as I catch up with some things and spend time with family during the School Holidays (vacation).

This is a quick coloured pencil drawing of the Sydney Opera House in morning shadow done while waiting to meet up with family.

See you next week!

I’m really surprised you love the colored pencil so much and how great the sketches turned out. I was convinced you’ll be back to watercolors soon 🙂 And guess what – now I have to try the colored pencils, too. Have a lovely time with your Family and Happy Easter.

Hi Nadja ! i’m a little surprised myself as last year when I wanted to go CP and dry media I ended up using WCPs instead. Must be a sign that it was the right thing for me to do.

Enjoy your break. You deserve it snowing in western VA in usa. Spring flowers keep on blooming. Enjoy. You give so much to all of us. Elaine h mcgann

What an amazing city you live in, that the beautiful Sydney Opera House is part of the background of your life! It looks great done with colored pencils.

Thanks Jeanne – I try not to take Sydney for granted. It is truly a wonderful city to live in!
