I’m really excited to let you all know that I’m going to be teaching a workshop as part of a wonderful event  – Sketching Retreat 2022 – hosted by David Drazil from Sketch Like an Architect.

I’ve been following David for a number of years so was delighted when he reached out to see if I’d been interested in teaching at his architectural sketching and drawing event. I feel very honoured to be one of 30+ amazing instructors and I’ll be doing a direct watercolour demo of a Baroque facade including using my new Kakimori Dip Pen. 

It’s wonderful to be in such great company – architects, designers, illustrators and artists – and I’m looking forward to learning from them. There will be workshops focusing on pen and ink drawing, using markers, drawing with Procreate and Concept on iPad, perspective, watercolour, drawing interiors and more. Some of the workshops will be designed for architects but there will be heaps of tips and tricks for urban sketching!
