Liberty Store

Still plugging away at finishing off (notes and maps) my July trip sketchbooks… onto the last day. First sketch from my last morning in London…

The Liberty Store… what a lovely building and so much fun to sketch and paint. I was using my water-soluble pentel brush pen (not the pocket brush which is permanent) as well as my lamy with noodlers bullet-proof.

It was done fairly early in the morning ….

I left my room so early that the tunnel from V&A to the tube was empty – I think this is an amazing photo (especially compared to what it is like at 5pm or 10pm!)
