My new red cup - Teacup collection #8

November 11, 2019 | 4 Comments

On Saturday I finally got around to sketching one of my new teacups to celebrate wrapping up my big online course – Watercolour On Location. It’s been a huge undertaking but I’ve loved every minute of it and I’m a little sad that the first run through of the course is now over.

The course has been running for the last two months, but I’ve been working on it for a full year. It’s been an incredible journey for me to put together this course based on the most common issues people have when they are sketching with watercolour out on location. It was so much fun to explore more intermediate concepts of story, values, elements, decision making and much more.

We have had the most incredible group of sketchers going through the course – so supportive and inspiring. It’s been wonderful to be part of their journey and see such development in their work. A huge thank you and a big hug to everyone who did the course and especially those who were active in the classroom. it’s been just so special – I can’t find adequate words to describe how much I have loved it. But of course, we will still be hanging out in the classroom and using it as an ongoing resource… so this really isn’t the end.

I will be offering the course again in 2020. Click here to find out more information and to join the waitlist for updates.

Liz, once again thank you for this Watercolour on Location course. It is full packed with information. Definitely an eye opener for me. There is so much I will have to put in practice 😉 You can be assured that when you have a re-run of your other courses, I will be joining in. 🙂 Diane

Liz, I have enjoyed the course so much. I made it a partial way through, because I continue to study as I go. I have learned so much already and I will keep learning and will keep accessing the lessons, videos and printable info. A very sincere thank you for taking the time and effort to create this course. It is wonderful!!!!

Thanks Donna – hope you can make the time to keep plugging away at the lessons. I know you are not the only one to be still working through the course. Keep it up!
