Since so many of you enjoying seeing my dad’s shed… We thought you might be interested in some of the artwork he did before he left home at the age of 15.
“So it is no wonder that you are sketching, Liz, it is in your blood” he just said to me.
How wonderful your father still has his sketches, Liz. It would be very hard to deny his genes wouldn't it? That looks to me like a big cedar log being hauled out of the forest. Not many of those around anymore. Bravo your father, great drawings. I love the donkey too.
More proof to my theory that artistic ability is genetic. Your dad's work is beyond the pale, Liz. I love his style and his subjects in these drawings. Perfect for book illustrations too!
