Europe09: Days 21-27 - Inverness and Around

December 2, 2009 | Leave your thoughts

Here is a huge dump of the remaining Scottish pages. These cover my last 6 days in Scotland spent in Inverness and around.

A relaxed day in Inverness – including this careful sketch from the comfort of a cozy cafe.

So wonderful to visit my sister and brother-in-law in their apartment close to town.

I was staying in a B&B with lots of bears everywhere!

A wonderful chocolate experience!

BB approved (and got an exclusive photo with the owner and chocolatier – so exclusive that I promised not to share it!)

Another outstanding food establishment – this time it was the Deli in Beault and I loved the fish chowder.

A nice roofs cape view from my room

We had so much fun today – this was an outing to the Black Isle.

Another fun day – of social catch ups and solo adventures.

A fun visit to Cawdor Castle (raining so super quick sketch)

Fun loose sketches of interior

I love square tops to round drums.

Final yummy dinner with the family.

Time to drive south!

An amazing selection of cake at a cafe at Pitlochry – someone asked me if I was Mairi Hedderwick – what a complement!

I had to draw the interior of my car which had served me so well for the last few weeks.

Airport sketch 🙂

Paris here we come….
