#Colour4LifeWorkshop (and livestream)

August 15, 2022 | 4 Comments

Just a quick article today to let you all know that I’m teaching two short free workshops in Newcastle for Faber Castell Australia as part of #Colour4Life 2022.

I’ll be sharing essential skills for sketching architecture (a condensed version of the main concepts explained in my Buildings course) and will be demonstrating how to add colour with a variety of Faber Castell products (Polychromos, Albrecht Durer Watercolour pencils and markers and Pitt Artist Pens). We’ll be sketching the Old Post Office in Lambton which just so happens to be a JimmyB building! πŸ™‚

The workshops are already sold out (if you are local you can join the waitlist) however…

I’m excited to announce that the second workshop will be livestreamed for free and anyone can join. Here are the details:

#Colour4LifeWorkshop: Sketching architecture essentials with Liz Steel

SATURDAY, AUGUST 27, 2022 AT 12:30 PM – 2 PM (Sydney time AEST)

The Facebook Event for the livestream is here.

I’m really looking forward to teaching these workshops!

Great drawing! Those Pitt pens look chunkier than the ones I have… I’ve checked the Faber-Castell UK website and they only seem to have black in this larger version. I wonder if the colour ones are new?

Hi Marta – those big markers in the photo are the Albrecht Durer watercolour markers – these should be available in the UK. There are new bigger Pitt Pens in the works (I have a few samples) and coming out soon.
