A watery SOH

The Sydney Opera House (SOH) is a subject matter that I always like to experiment with. Last time I did a version with some wild magenta explosions, this time it was all about losing control of some watery washes and seeing what the end result would be!

Successful watercolour sketching is all about knowing when to control it (being very intentional about how much pigment and water is in your washes and in your brush) and when to let it do its own thing.

On this occasion, I decided to abandon all control! 🙂

BTW I’m hosting a Group Self-Paced version of my Watercolour course starting on Wednesday 15 March. I’ll be sharing more about this in the coming weeks but you can find out more details here.
