I am super excited to share with you my chat with Brian Goulet from Goulet Pens that we recorded last week. So make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, sit back and enjoy. Hmm… make that a POT of tea or coffee.
If the embedded video doesn’t work for you here it the direct link to youtube:
If somehow you missed it, I worked with the wonderful Madigan from Goulet Pens to put this series together on Fountain Pen Sketching here.
And, because I haven’t sketched a cup of tea in over a week, I will share again the sketch I did while putting the above series together, using five different pens and inks. I now refer to this as my ‘Goulet cup’.

Thanks, Liz and Brian! I enjoyed this a lot.
I had bought 6 fountain pens from Brian Goulet and was searching his blogs on how to care for them. He made the comment: “The most important thing is to use them.” Then he mentioned Liz Steel. “Check her out.” So I did and it has been the joy of my life to resurrect my sketching skills from childhood and combine them with the writing I’ve been trying to hone. Love you Liz!!!
Hi Nancy – so nice that Brian mentioned me and so that you are sketching again!
