A question about seascapes came up in my SketchingNow Watercolour course last week and it got me looking through my old blogposts. I re- discovered my sketches from 5 years ago when I had two weeks at the beach – at Port Macquarie.

It was an amazing break, not only because I took it easy for a fortnight, but also because it was a creative journey – working out my own way to sketch rocks and waves.
