A few nights ago I was in the mood for some scanning (really!?!) and the result is this blog article!

It contains sketches using our recent Patreon themes of framing and darks (night time sketching, back lighting and varied shadow colours), plus some mixed media work. Note: I’ve finally started using my Neocolor IIs again after a 4-month break.

I’ve also included a few double-page spread images as well.

I love how exciting everyday sketching becomes when I explore our monthly themes and play with materials.
