I was told that this was a nice heavily decorated building but have to admit that I found it a little boring – very flat wall surface.
Did this sketch early on the third day of the symposium. it was really great to be out sketching on my own and having a little time to think through some of the stuff that was floating through my head….

hi Liz, I stumbled upon your blog through Michael Nobbs twitter. I fell in love with your site and I am very inspired at how you started and continue your journey in art. I myself am a avid fan of watercolors and sketching. What inspires me is how you are able to make sketching your daily habit. Like you I am also overcoming my fear in so many things especially accepting my flaws and just go with making art and sketches etc. I don't know how else to get in touch with you therefore I leave this comment. I have also a website at http://harmonythoughts.com/
Again thanks so much. Looking forward to check your lovely sketches.
Sincerely,
Elisa
I love this sketch liz. Your lines are very lyrical and jsut enough colour added.
