A few weeks ago I did a 4 minute sketch from my car before an appointment – see here. Last week I had another appointment at the same place, and parked my car in the same spot.
But on this second occasion I had a little more time – and once again used graphite.
I started my sketch with a 0.7 2B mechanical pencil (for the buildings) but then switched to a 2B Castell 9000 Graphite Pencil (for the trees and dark shapes).
Ah! there is something so satisfying about doing a quick graphite sketch when I don’t have much time.
