I’m absolutely loving going through my Sketchbook Design course again with an amazing cohort. So much fun!

It’s giving me a chance to rethink how I use text and headings, and it’s reminding me how much I love ‘colour blocks’. These are coloured backgrounds that can really make your pages pop!

I typically use them for single objects, but my partial sky technique can also be considered a colour block, especially when it relates to other elements on the same double-page spread. The image above is an example.
