Fancy teapot, moving sketchbooks and a blue house(x2)

Tea and (cake!) at Pablo and Rusty’s (the last of the patterned cups!)  but their teapots are very groovy. P&R have a good reputation for coffee but of course I was drinking tea…and for the record their EGT is very good (EGT= earl grey tea if you couldn’t work that out!)

Finally got around to moving sketchbooks into my newish shelves in my studio but no energy to order them. Less than 7.5 years worth. Just finished that alpha landscape book and started another one.

Then in the fading light and rain 2 versions of Blue House #32 from my car.

BTW I took a  in progress photo of the first version – I was just drawing the shapes and not the prominent edges – this is quite opposite from the natural way that I want to explore and describe a building…more painter vs architect! BTW don’t you just love potters pinks!!! Well I do!

BTW2 – I post my sketches during the day(while the paint is still wet) via instagram…  follow me  if you like! lizsteelart
