Some buildings are fun (and quick) to sketch

Just a super quick post today to share a sketch from my September trip to San Fransisco – a very quick sketch of Mission Dolores. I love sketching buildings which have strong simple volumes and lots of fancy details.

In this sketch I put the paint down first and then drew a few loose lines over the top with a watercolour pencil.
