Although I don’t promote my illustration work very much (at all!) I have done the odd job in the past 18 months. I am often not able to share what I am working on at the time and then neglect to do a post once they are released or used!
This week it was time to finally say goodbye to 12 months worth of architectural illustrations that I have done for Redrow London. (The first 4 that I did I hand delivered last year when I was in Europe…. couldn’t quite manage it this year.) Redrow have been the most amazing client to work with and have an impressive portfolio of exciting developments in London. It has been a great experience to work with them.
These are obviously more serious illustrations and not my usual loose crazy sketching on location – they take many hours of planning and producing – but I still like to draw and paint in my loose manner. So it is a fine balance of trying to be spontaneous and careful and accurate at the same time. I love it!

They look great! I've always wonder what you do when you're not sketching.
thanks Parka, I wish I did more of this… In fact I spend a lot of time doing admin and planning classes and teaching!
thanks Crimson Leaves – an architect training is a huge help doing these….
Who better than an architect to do architectural renderings? They are gorgeous!!
