Cuppa Tea Time: My SketchingNow Buildings teacup

September 9, 2016 | 1 Comment

If you were wondering about the question I posed in yesterday’s post… yes! I did buy another new teacup to celebrate the launch of this year’s course. I choose this crazy teacup because it is more complicated than a baroque facade and I knew it would be very challenging for me to sketch quickly. So here is the sketch I did just after 8pm on Wednesday – once SketchingNow Buildings had officially started.

To say that I was a little tired when I did this would be an understatement, so I decided to do a few thumbnails to try to make sense of the crazy pattern.

Anyway, I need to keep my blog posts to a minimal at the moment. I’m completely loving everything that is going on in the Buildings classroom – wow wow wow! – but it is taking up all of my time.

Have a great weekend everyone!

And oh! I just realised that my two new cups clash badly and are not supposed to be seen together. But I just posted them on consecutive days – oh well!
