Balmoral Sketching Class - Watercolour

So much fun sharing some of my watercolour approaches today – expressive brushwork, having fun getting wonderful texture from pigment interaction and my crazy slogan “hit it hard and leave it”.

Today was all about exploring some basic concepts… next week we will put it all into practice.

We also had some interesting discussions about how to achieve looseness – something we will also look at further next week.

Another lovely day down at Balmoral…hard to believe that next week is our last before heading into the Rocks to sketch architecture.
