I created this page a few weeks ago to share on one of the Sketchbook Design live Q&A sessions.

It wasn’t intended to be a guide for beginners, but rather simply a collection of tips which I frequently refer to in my online courses and face to face workshops. And I wanted to make a fun sketchbook spread as well!

Whilst I created this page so that I could talk through it and explain each part in more detail, I hope that you can pick up on the ideas. Two main thoughts are bold strokes (either line or paint) and simplify your subject.
