Sketching 100 People in a Week - can I do it?

June 15, 2015 | 4 Comments

With 5 medical appointments in 3 days, this week is perfect for attempting Marc Taro Holmes 100 people sketches in a week (or the modified number of 50 set by a few fellow Sydney USKers.) Here are my sketches from today (23), plus a quick sketch of my sister’s big teddy bear which is due to fly to Scotland tomorrow! It has been lovely looking after this bear for a few years, but we are all excited that a friend has a big half empty suitcase, and he will deliver it to my sis!

UPDATE: I did achieve it. See the second half of this post for the details

  • Good luck with your appointments, Liz. I hope all is well. You'll easily do 100; you did 23 already!!

Wow! 100 people in a week is a daunting challenge. I'm lucky if I get in one pitiful drawing a day. What is the torso trick that's working (noted above in your journal? I need every trick I can get.

thanks- if I get out for a few more days this week, then there is a chance I will hit 100! 66 after day 2.

all in good time Joan…. just too flat out at the moment to write a long post about my approach and I am also refining it!
