Sketching architecture in the Rocks - the first week

November 8, 2013 | Leave your thoughts

Two really big mornings this week teaching my Sketching Architecture Class in the Rocks – on Thursday and Friday mornings.

We start with some theory and paper exercises in one of the upstairs function rooms of my favourite tearoom in Sydney. “The Tea Cosy”…and then head out onto the streets to but the techniques into practice. Once again, I have a amazing group of people in my classes and we all had a lot of fun this week. Always inspiring to see how differently everyone works.

I also like working in the CBD (downtown) once more and to get to feel part of the coming and goings of the city – including the huge cruise ships in the habour. Both days I walked past them disembarking.

Can’t wait for next week!
