I don’t often get an opportunity to sketch the working side of a coffee machine.
Normally…
1. I’m looking at the outside face and can only see the coffee cups on top and the heads of the baristas.
2. If I do get a view of the working side, there is too much activity to be able to sketch the machine itself.
But last week, the cafe was quiet, so I had an uninterrupted view.
Here is the full spread. I’ve been doing lots of mixed media lately – thanks to the inspiration of Laurie Wigham who was visiting Sydney. It was great to have two days to hang out with her and talk art!
