Sketching Architecture Workshop Sydney March 2016: Day 1

March 17, 2016 | 4 Comments

I’m running the same Sketching Architecture workshop this week here in Sydney – in the Macquarie St area.

I am extremely thankful that the morning rain lifted and we had a lovely day sketching outside from mid-morning. Check out my previous post for a full report of the content, but here today is a collection of images – hot off the press.

After my introductory talk and a few warmup exercises in a cafe….

we looked at volumes in the morning based on the gateway to the Hyde Park Barracks….

and then did a (careful) measured setup of the facade of St James this afternoon.

Wonderful work again! I can’t wait to see what the group will do tomorrow.
