Exciting parcels waiting for me at home

Back home…  exciting art related parcels…. and even better – 2 were gifts!

I am not going to disclose the contents of all of them… but 2 parcels were from Germany, one contained some DVDs and one contained a fountain pen.

Super5 have a wonderful calligraphy pen which flows really well and has nice variation of line. They are a sponsor for the Urban Sketchers Symposium in Brazil this August and have sent out pens to the instructors beforehand to test. I am liking the look of it a lot … but won’t do a road test for a couple of weeks. It is heavier than a lamy and I need to give my hand a break after my recent trip!

I know many of you are waiting for the verdict on the new moleskine paper… I will do a full review soon. I used a new stock book the first week and an old stock book for the 2nd week of my Tassie Trip. The new paper IS different and IS certainly not as good. I did start to get used to it by the end of the book…but oh! it was nice to move onto the old paper for the second week. More later….

Someone has a lot of scanning to do – not to mention a lot of things to catch up on and some new exciting projects to get my teeth into!
