TasTrip15 Full Collection Part 1: Launceston

February 19, 2015 | 2 Comments

I thought I would try something different for my posting this trip. Here is the full collection of my  sketches from my 3 days in “Lonnie” to give you an idea of what it would be like to flick through my sketchbook and get a feel of the narrative of my visit.

Yes, it was only a three day visit – I went a little crazy. I know I know… totally out of control!

During next week, I will do some more detailed posts (including rotating the vertical sketches!) and larger sizes of some of the sketches. I will be announcing details of the Travel Sketching Launceston workshop in my March newsletter so please sign up for it here to be the first to hear about it!

Get ready for some serious mouse scrolling!

  • Your books and sketches do always inspire me and yet I am frozen by inability to draw well. Love seeing these, Liz. I'm always blown away by inside of airplane sketches with the perspective, all the seats, and the people!

well Sherry they are a real challenge (I never get the perspective 100% right myself)
