Another item or 2 to add to my art kit

This thick pencil and me go back to a long way ... Student days.
Going to take this as part of our workshop - a tool to use to help loosen up when drawing architecture.
I used to sketch with this often....

The blending tool (not sure of exact name) is great for creating shading. Got this idea from a wonderful book 'fast sketching techniques'. I was using my fat pencil way before I came across that book - but it gave me some more ideas.

  2. In the States, the blending tool is called a stump. (Sorry for the typo in the last comment--it is 5:39 am here.)

  3. Blending tool "stump" are also known as tortillions forgive me if I spelt it wrong, very handy.

    In jail its common to just use a rolled up piece of scrap paper. (not that I've ever been in jail)
