Hopefully you will have fast enough internet connection to view them - let me know if better to be separate posts....

WONDERFUL. I love that the notebooks go to full page. What a feast I shall have, looking at these.

Wow = what fun! I quickly "thumbed" thru all of them and will come back when I have more time. I loved how the pages turned, not to mention all the art! nancy
Well WOW, Liz these are just too wonderful. I feel as if I'd been there with you...
Found these about the time I was supposed to be cooking dinner. Ooops! Must come back later...
Oh, Liz! Unbelievable! I took a brief glance thru all but m u s t do this with a cup of tea and savor the experience. Wow! Thank you for sharing - and in such wonderful fashion!
I'm in awe! Just fabulous! I'll have to read it when I have more time. How wonderful to share the experience with us. I kept wondering where's the bear..... checked back into the blog and was happy to see him there! When you say a "quick sketch" what is the range in time for the (truely amazing) architectual drawings? Just like to know what is possible so I can push myself to sketch so quickly!
Continued success
Wonderful journals! Artwork was great + all that time you have put to sketching and scanning and... I am full of admiration!
Thank you for sharing. These pages are so inspiring. Looks like you ate well!
Wow! I have just spent a happy half-hour looking at your sketch books. They are truly awsome!
Europe, tea, and architecture - what else to desire for!
Just absolutely wonderful! Thank you for sharing, these are fabulous travel journals!
thanks everyone! It is so nice that I share my books as if I just handed them to you (almost!)
@Lyn - I think that most of these sketches took about 20-30 minutes each. Except for Paris where Eza and I normally were at one spot for an hour - though I often got to draw a second or third. I normally just do enough pencil line setup to know that it fit the page and the bays/spacings of the building are ok - I then just go for it with ink.
Awesome and what everyone has said. These are so much better than photographs and they will be great memories. What a keepsake. Like you made your own travel catalog. Loved the sketches, and you even drew in the little maps to show where you were traveling. Loved your commentary, too. What a great idea this Issuu.
Complimenti. It's one of my favorites blog. Very very nice jewels.
Brava!
You obviously had a very wonderful trip and with all those lovely drawings, you will be able to relive it over and over.
I love your sketching style!
thanks again everyone! I am glad you enjoyed them!
I love your sketches and look often at your blog and flickr entries. It's a wonderful idea to collate your recent travel sketches into one place and I am off now to buy a copy of your book
from Blurb so I can enjoy it in the garden with a cup of tea when Spring eventually arrives
