Europe 09 Paris...

My Paris sketchbook...
starting soon!

I realised that it is just over 2 weeks till I start my summer holidays so I better get crackin' and start scanning my Paris sketches....

This is the title page to my Paris book and it is ironic that this is the last sketch I did in Paris - it is of the front door to our B&B apartment which I sketched whilst nervously waiting for the shuttle bus to take me to the airport on the way home.(Note the pencil outline of my suitcase and carry on bag next to the door!)

I feel like I've walked into sunshine looking at your blog Liz ... this is in fact the first comment I've ever left and had to sign up to do it!
I found your pages after going to a wonderful talk recently at a library by the Queen of Tea Cosies Loani ... also inspiring ... but I found you on her site ... how lucky!
It's the combination of your informal sketches and charming words that has been so delightful to discover ... so thank you.
All the best, Belinda

Hi Belinda – Wow! Thank you for your kind words. It is amazing the adventures that one can go on – in real life and online!! Thanks so much for making the effort to comment!!! Glad you enjoyed Loani’s talk – I loved meeting her and I realized that it is her light hearted approach to knitting tea cosies that relates so well with the way I approach my sketching.
