Day 16- Last Day in Edinburgh

Day16_01 Summary
My third day to explore Edinburgh – wow! It is such a beautiful city – I am glad to have a few days to wander its streets.
Day16_02 Royal Mile
This day was Open Doors day and I was hanging with Eza (my sketching companion who was coming to Paris with me during the last week of my trip) We booked a tour of the Advocates Library and had maybe 20 minutes to spare... Of course a sketch was in order. This was still wet when we returned into Parliament House
Day16_03 Advocate Library Tour
I did these sketches during the tour – it is good practice to work so fast. Paint added from memory 2 weeks later on the flight home.
Day16_04 Lunch View
An Australian in the Scottish autumn was feeling rather cold and so we found a nice warm cafĂ© to have a hot bowl of soup – had a nice view too. I don’t take my journal too seriously hence the red and grey lines! A lovely sight seeing and chatting day with less sketches than a ‘normal’ day – but Eza and I would make up to it when we were in Paris!
